How Often Should You Get a Wiper Blade Replaced?

Signs of Broken or Worn-out Wiper Blades

Other common indicators include scratching noise or streaking on the windshield. Keep in mind that even new wiper blades can be damaged and require replacement. To maximize the wiper blades' life, only use them in wet conditions or with enough windshield fluid. In winter, the rubber of the wipers can get stiff and becomes more susceptible to damage. If you live in areas with heavy rain or snow, you should have more inspection of wiper blades.
